How To Make Your Own Mineral Finishing Powders
Finishing powder, mineral veil, setting powder and finishing veil are all one and the same product and a must have in any girls makeup bag!
Although normally used after applying mineral makeup to give that professional soft focus finish, they can also be used before your mineral foundation is applied. This gives extra adhesion and can also help with extra oil absorption where necessary depending on the base powders used.
This is the simplest of mineral cosmetics to make and can be made from varying ingredients ranging from using one base powder to several depending on your needs. They can be tinted or untinted but they all have one thing in common, they are always sheer and light reflecting, so your choice of base powders will be those that offer translucency and good light scattering abilities.
