Manganese Violet is a strong, bright violet pigment with blue undertones.
This is just gorgeous in lipsticks and it makes beautiful matte eyeshadows, anything from the most pastel lilac to vibrant deep purples, an incredibly seductive night time colour!
Not suitable for use in CP soap process, instead mix our Ultramarine Violet and Ultramarine Blue together for a dark rich purple which is stable for use in CP.
Shelf Life: At least 3 years if stored in a closed container at ambient room temperature in dry conditions.
EU Regulation: Approved for use in all cosmetics without restriction.

I bought this product for the usage in soap. In Cold Process soap the colour changed from violett to dark brown. Until know the colour did not turn into violett back again. I don`t think the colour will switch back to violett after a prolonged storage.

Purple coloured pigments often morph in CP soap but they will return after the lye has neutralised.

Don't use this in cold process soaps. The manganese morphs into a yukky grey/brown colour as a chemical reaction with the lye. Such a shame as it's a lovely violet. Bear this in mind when buying any other micas with a high amount of manganese in them. I lost a batch of soap.
